i can show you with ex.
if the decimal is 0.45 then the fraction will be 45/100
here .see the no. of digits after the point....and put those many zeroes down in the denominator........
and vice versa with percentage to decimal
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Write down the percent divided by 100 like this
percent 100.
Step 2: If the percent is not a whole number, then multiply both top and bottom by 10 for every number after the point(decimal point).
so. if the percent is 25% then
write down like 25/100
then convert that into decimal as shown above
0.25
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
if the denominator in the fraction is not 100 then convert that into 100 like
if the no. is 1/20
multiply both the numerator and the denominator with 5
1*5 / 20 * 5
=5/100(by multiplying by 5,we get 100)
now change that to decimal
=0.05

When we convert decimal to percentage, we multiply it by 100.
For example - 0.25 = 25%
When we convert percentage to decimal, we divide it by 100
For example - 40% = 0.4 or 0.40
When we convert percentage to fraction, we divide it by 100 and convert it into its simplest form.
For example - 25% = 25/100 = 1/4
When we convert fraction into decimal, we will make the denominator 100 by multiplying a number and divide it.
For example - 20/25 = 20*4/25*4 = 80/100 = 0.80 or 0.8
