this decomposition is also called as thermal decomposition :

2FESO4 -----------} FE203 + SO2 + SO3

FESO4 is pale green and on heating becomes reddish brown

it is called as thermal decomposition it is because heat is used to carry out the decomposition process

plz mark as brainliest

plzzz

pmtibrahim18: it is because
pmtibrahim18: FE2SO4 loses its water when heated and decomposes to ferric oxide
pmtibrahim18: FESO4 is getting decomposed into FE2O3
coco17102: in FeSO4 the valency of fe was 2 but in Fe2O3 the valency of fe is 3. how?
coco17102: pls tell
pmtibrahim18: the 2 in front of fe is for balancing
pmtibrahim18: it is not its valency
coco17102: what is it for
pmtibrahim18: for balancing the number of atoms left hand side and right hand side
coco17102: but for balancing the numbers are written before element ,like2 Fe but it is fe2

Answer❥

FeSO4(s) + heat Fe2SO3(s) + SO2(g) + SO3 (g)

Explanation:

If we heat ferrous sulphate (FeSO4. 7H2O) we will get ferric oxide(Fe2SO3) + Sulphur Dioxide(SO2) + Sulphur trioxide (SO3).
