From figure:

EF = 40 - (2 * 3)

     = 40 - 6

     = 34 m

GF = 15 - (2 * 2)

     = 15 - 4

     = 11 m

Area of inner rectangle = 34 * 11

                                       = 374 m^2

Therefore, largest area where house can be  constructed is 374 m^2.

Hope this helps!

Answer:

374mtrs^2 area of house

Step-by-step explanation:

given 40m*15 mtrs dimension

also given front and back 3 mtrs is alloted

and other side 2m+2m  is alloted

so 40-(3+3) * 15-(2+2)=40-6 * 15-4

34*11=374 mtrs square area
