By defenition of wavelenth we know that the distance traveled by wave in one oscillation is called wavelenth.
Frequency : Nunber of oscillations in one second.
speed = distanse/ time
distance travelled by wave is wavelenth.
Time required for on oscillation T = 1/frequency
hence velocity = wavelenth / Time period
Velocity = wavelenth X Frequency
