Answer:

  • Length of Rectangle = 45 m
  • Breadth of Rectangle = 10 m
  • Side of Square = 15 m

When we will divide Rectangle into equal Squares , Dimensions will change but Area won't.

According to the Question :

⇢ Area of Rectangle = Area of Square × Number

⇢ Length × Breadth = (Side)² × Number

⇢ 45 m × 10 m = (15 m)² × Number

⇢ 450 m² = 225 m² × Number

⇢ 450 m² / 225 m² = Number

Number = 2

Whole region can be divided into 2 parts.

Given :

➙ Length of the rectangular field = 45m

➙ Breath of the rectangular field = 10m

➙ Side of the square to which the rectangle will be divided = 15m

To Find :

➙ Number of squares be able to divide the whole region .

Considering :

➙ Let the number of squares be 'x'

Solution :

According to Question , area of rectangle is equal to area of the square .

᠉ length × breath = ( side )² × x

᠉ 45 × 10 = ( 15 )² x

᠉ 450m² = 225m² × x

᠉ x = 450/225

᠉ x = 2

THEREFORE ,

The rectangular field can be divided into 2 squares .
