Deepak starts walking straight towards east. after walking 75 m he turns to the left and walks 25 m straight.again he turns to the left and walks a distance of 40m straight, again he turns to the left and walks a distance of 25 m. how far is he from the starting point?

He walked 75 m towards east i.e. AB = 75 m

He turns left and walks 25 m i.e. CB = 25 m

He turns to the left and walks a distance of 40 m straight i.e. DC = 40 m

Again he turns to the left and walks a distance of 25 m. i.e. DE = 25 m

Since the starting point was A

Referring the figure BE = 40 m

So, now he is far from point A = AB - BE = 75-40 = 35 m

Hence he is 35 m away from the Starting point .
