Body with little segmentation as the earthworm body is segmented but the insects body is little segmented.

I think option b) Body with jointed legs is the character which confirms that it is an insect because insects belong to the phylum of arthropods which have three pairs of or 6 jointed legs as shown in the diagram given above.
