Deepika has a square piece of cloth of area 9 m square and she wants to make 16 square shaped scarves of equal size out of it. What should possibly be the length of the side of the scarf that can be made out of this piece?

total area=9m^2
no. of square pieces =16
area of each piece= 9/16
area of square= side ^2
side =√9/√16=3/4

Since, Area of total cloth = 9m*m
Total pieces she want to make out = 16
Therefore, Area of one piece = 9/16

Since, Area of each piece = side*side
Therefore, side of each piece = √[Area of each piece].
Side= √[9/16]
Side of each piece = 3/4
