It was Malik Kafur who defeated the Yadavas of Devagiri and the Kakatiyas of Warangal in his early campaigns. Malik Kafur reached Warangal in January, 1310.

Allaudin Khliji's commander Malik Kafur defeated both Yadavas of Devagiri and the Kakatiyas of Warangal and he looted much wealth from those kingdoms.
At that time, Kakatiyas were accepted to pay a yearly tribute to the sultan of Delhi, and also he defeated hoyasalas of Dwaga samudram.
