Arrhenius definition

Acids on the substance which produce proton H+ . bases produce OH-

Bronsted Lowry definition:

The acid is a proton donor, and the base is a proton acceptor. They form conjugate base and conjugate acid respectively. strong acid forms weak conjugate base and weak acid forms strong conjugate base and similarly for bases.

Lewis definition

Lewis acids accept electron pair from Lewis bases which are actually lone pair of electrons.

Ex: aluminium chloride is a Lewis acid(has incomplete octet configuration), ammonia is a Lewis base (has lone pair of electron)
