☸bacteria are small unicellular microscopic organisms which cannot be seen through naked eyes.... we need electron microscope for that....

☸these are called prokaryotic cells....
prokayotic cells are those cells which do not possess membrane bound organelles..... they don't have membrane bound nucleus....

☸bacteria has nucleoid is place of nucleus.....
nucleoid is non membrane bound...

☸the have an extra, round - double stranded DNA called plasmid that is used to monitor bacteria transformation with foreign DNA... plasmid is located in cytoplasm..

☸bacteria commonly has 3 envelope system......i.e. outer glycocalyx..... then cell wall and inner cell membrane.....

☸bacteria has ribosome which is of 70s type in the cytoplasm ....
ribosome is the olny common structure between eukaryotic and prokayotic cells...
(eukaryotic cells are those which have a nuclear membrane bound nucleus)

☸bacteria are of two types : gram +ve bacteria and gram -ve bacteria....

☸many bacteria are pathogenic to us.... i.e.causes several diseases.....like: streptococcus pneumonia

☸many are useful as well.... like lactobacillus

hope it helps you to....
