Solid mostly-pure CO2 is called dry ice. It quickly sublimates (turns into a gas) at room temperature, soyou’ll want to pack it into an insulating container. Styrofoam boxes are OK for small quantities for a few days or so.To stay liquid, CO2 needs to be pressurized. I used tohave a spray can of liquid CO2 for rapidly cooling things off in electronics work.
