heya,
Define the following :-
1. electrovalent - the valency of a substance in forming ions, equal to the number of electrons gained or lost. e.g - magnesium bromide. (MgBr2).
2. covalent - the number of electrons pairs that an atom can share with its neighbouring atoms. e.g- hydrogen chloride (HCl).
3. coordinate bond - a type of a covalent chemical bond in which both of the electrons shared are provided by one of the atoms. e.g - ammonium ions (NH4^+).
thank you. i hope this will helps you.
