those parts of a flower which are directly concerned with reproduction are known as essential whorls of a flower.
there r four essential whorls of a flower......
calyx,corolla, androceium, gynoceium.

in plants there are four whorls.....


1.calyx/sepals--- these.protect the flower before opening .and also helps in photosynthesis.....

2.petals/carolla---- these are the coloured part of plant....among these some have fragnance also...

3.androecium---; this is the male part of flower and divided into to main parts....

4. gyonecium......this is the innermost whorl of the flower...and main female parts of flower... it is definitely divided into three main parts...

c..ovary
