Hey !!
Question :- Define
(1) Addition polymers
(2) Condensation polymer
Answer = Addition Polymer = The addition polymers are formed by the repeated addition of same or different monomer molecules. The monomers used are unsaturated compounds.
Example :- Alkenes , Alkadienes
Polythene is an example of addition polymer.
nCH₂ (Double Bond) CH₂ --333 - 343 K, 6 - 7 atm ( Ziegler - Natta Catalyst ) -----> ( CH₂ --- CH₂ )n
NOTE :- nCH₂ (Double Bond) CH₂ ( ETHENE )
( CH₂ --- CH₂ )n ( HIGH DENSITY POLYTHENE )
CONDENSATION POLYMER
The condensation polymers are formed by the repeated condensation reaction between different bifunctional or trifunctional monomer units usually with elimination of small molecules such as water , alcohol , hydrogen chloride, etc.
Example :- Nylon - 6 , Nylon - 6 , 6 and terylene.

Answer:
✔Addition polymerisation:
⭐The addition polymers are formed by the repeated addition of monomer molecules having double or triple bonds.
⭐Example - The formation of polythene from ethene and polypropene from propene.
✔Condensation polymerisation:
⭐The condensation polymers are formed by reoeated condensation reaction between two different bi and tri functional monomeric units.
⭐Examples - Terylene, Nylon6,6 , Nylon6, etc.
