The current is said to be 1 ampere when 1 Coulomb charge flows in a circuit in 1 s time .
when the potential difference in a circuit is 1 V and the current flowing through it is 1 A , then the resistance comes out to be 1 ohm .
1 Volt is the potential difference when 1 joule works needed to be done to carry 1 Coulomb of charge .

Hope it helps you !!✌✌

Explanation:

Definitions of volt —

Potential difference across a resistance of 1 Ohm when current of 1 Amp passes through it.

Potential difference betwe two parallel infinite conducting plates 1 meter apart, that create a field of 1 newton per coulomb.

Potential difference between two points on a a conductor that impart energy of 1 Joule per Coulomb of charge that passes through it every second.

Potential difference that produces 1 watt of power when a current of 1 Amp passes through it.
