1. proper noun = a name used for an individual person, place, or organization, spelled with an initial capital letter, e.g. Jane, London, and Oxfam.
2. common noun = a noun denoting a class of objects or a concept as opposed to a particular individual.
3. collective noun = a count noun that denotes a group of individuals (e.g. assembly, family, crew ).
4. abstract noun = a noun denoting an idea, quality, or state rather than a concrete object, e.g. truth, danger, happiness.
5. material noun = Material noun is the name given to the material, substance or things made up of alloy. ... Material nouns from nature: water, air, silver, gold, iron, copper, sand, coal, rock, sunlight, rain, earth, salt, etc.Material nouns from animals: egg, meat, honey, milk, silk, leather, wool .
6. countable noun = another term for count noun. ex. one pencil , two pens etc.
7. uncountable noun = another term for mass noun. ex. we cannot count "milk". We can count "bottles of milk" or "litres of milk", but we cannot count "milk" itself.

• PROPER NOUN
When the noun is the name of a particular person, place, animal or thing, it is called proper noun.
for example - Shaila, Shillong, Yamuna, Sheroo
Remember - Proper nouns always begin with capital letters.
• COMMON NOUN
