a)Alternate Interior Angles. When two lines are crossed by another line (called the Transversal): The pairs of angles on opposite sides of the transversal but inside the two lines are called Alternate Interior Angles.
b)linear pair of angles is formed when two lines intersect. Twoangles are said to be linear if they are adjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines. The measure of a straight angle is 180 degrees, so a linear pair of angles must add up to 180 degrees.
c)the angles which occupy the same relative position at each intersection where a straight line crosses two others. If the two lines are parallel, the corresponding angles are equal.
d)Vertically Opposite Angles are theangles opposite each other when two lines cross. "Vertical" in this case means they share the same Vertex (corner point), not the usual meaning of up-down.

a) the angles on the opposite side of the transversal but not linear pair.
b) when two angles are lying on a straight line with a common arm.
c) the angles which occupy the same relative position at each intersection where a straight line crosses two others.
d) when two straight lines intersect each other, then the angles opposite to each other are called vertically opposite angles.
Hope this helped you! :)
