BALANCED CHEMICAL EQUATION :

✳️ It is a chemical equation in which the total number of atoms of each element in the reactants, on the left hand side of the equation, is the same as the number of atoms in the products formed, on the right hand side of the equation.

✳️ CaCO3 → CaO + CO2 is a balanced equation because in this equation, the number of atoms of Ca, C and O on both sides of the equation is the same, i.e., the equation is said to be balanced.

✳️ 2KNO3 → 2KNO2 + O2 is a balanced equation because in this equation, the number of atoms of K, N and O on both sides of the equation is the same, i.e., the equation is said to be balanced.
