Define about food hygiene.

Hygiene basically means to take measures in order to keep your safe from diseases and germs. It can be preventive measures or measures to cure a disease.

Food hygiene is similar. It means to take good care in order to keep the hygiene  safe and clean. One need to take measure to not get food poisoning. These measures may include covering your food so that flies may not sit on it. Washing your food utensils before use. Stay away from rotten food.

The word “hygiene” refers to all the conditions and practices perform to maintain good and disease free health, especially through cleanliness.

Similarly, food hygiene is a set of measures acquired to keep the food clean and germ free.  

It encompasses all the methods that are used to kill germs or pathogens from the eatables.  

For example, heating and pasteurization are methods to maintain food hygiene.
