“Adaptation is the physical or behavioural characteristic of an organism that helps an organism to survive better in the surrounding environment.”

Maximum Temperature -- This is the highest temperature recorded during a specified period of time. Common time periods include 6, 12 and 24 hours. The most common reference is to the daily maximum temperature, or "high."

A Tropical Rainforest is a hot, humid, and flourishing dense forest, usually found around the equator. Tropical rainforests receive around 100 inches (254 centimeters) of rainfall yearly, and contain tall broad-leaved evergreen trees that form a continuous canopy.

Climate is the average weather in a given area over a longer period of time.

Migration is the seasonal movement of a complete population of animals from one area to another.

The tropical regions are the regions of the Earth near the equator and between the Tropic of Cancer in the northern hemisphere and the Tropic of Capricorn in the southern hemisphere. This tropical region is also referred to as the tropical zone or the torrid zone.
