Human circulatory system starts with:
left ventricle pumping oxygenated blood through Aorta...this is where systomic circulation starts....the oxygenated blood then travelles through arteries towards tissues
at tissues the oxygenated blood gets consumed(oxygen) and blood becomes deoxygenated
the blood then travelles back to right atrium through veins here the systomic circulation ends
Now the blood travel from right atrium to right ventricle and from their the deoxygenated blood is taken towards lungs....here pulmonary circulation happens
in lungs the deoxygenated blood gets converted into oxygenated blood with the help of fine capillaries
once oxygenated....the blood is carried back to the left atrium of heart where pulmonary circulation completes....
Hence it is also called as double circulation
