Apartheid was a crime against humanity. This system was lasted from 1948 - 1994. Generally, it helps to keep economical and political power with people of English heritage.

It divided the South Africans on the basis of the type of education they could receive, on the basis of their race, whether they could vote, who they could associate with, and which public facilities(luxury or poor) they could use.

Apartheid has negatively affected the lives of all South African children, while under apartheid, non-white South Africans would be forced to live in separate and weird areas from whites and use low qualified separate public facilities.
