Atomic mass is the sum of neutron and protons present in the nucleus of the atom.
Atomic mass (A) = number of protons+ number of neutrons.

Hope it helps..

Atomic mass:-

  • An element's atomic mass is the sum of the weights of its atoms measured in atomic mass units (also known as daltons, D).
  • The mass of an electron is a weighted sum of all the isotopes of such an element, calculated by multiplying the mass of every isotope by the abundance of such individual isotope.
  • The atomic mass is the total of the masses of protons, neutrons, as well as electrons.
  • The total mass of an element's naturally produced isotopes compared to the mass of a 12C atom gives one atom a relative atomic mass of exactly 12.
