Answer :

Average atomic mass of an element is defined as the average mass of a elements's isotopes on the basis of their percentage of abundance found in nature and mass number.


For example : - Average atomicass of chlorine is 35.5


Average atomic mass is given as :


Average atomic mass = [{(percentage)×mass no}. + {(100 - percentage) × mass no.}]/100


Here, percentage is the  percentage of abundance of first isotope of an element found in nature.
