Answer:

Kinetic Energy is the energy possessed by an object by virtue of it being in motion. PE is the energy possessed by an object by virtue of its position. Kinetic Energy is already moving and is not at rest. Potential Energy is purely based on the position of the object and also the condition of the object.

Hope it helps :)

HERE U GO

POTENTIAL ENERGY-   IT IS AN INVISIBLE FORM OF ENERGY. WHENEVER     THE ENERGY IS IMPARTED TO THE SYSTEM THAT ENERGY WHICH IS STORED IS CALLED POTENTIAL ENERGY.

EXAMPLE- A BALL THROWN AT A CERTAIN HEIGHT COMES TO OBTAIN REST FOR FEW SECONDS THAT ENERGY GAINED IS CALLED P.E.

KINETIC ENERGY-  KINETIC ENERGY IS THE ENERGY WHICH IS IN MOTION.

                                   EXAMPLE -Moving Car
