Bowman’s capsule refers to the double- walled cup-shaped structure of the nephron which surrounds the glomerulus. Its main function is to collect the glomerular filtrate (fluid filtered by the glomerulus) from the glomerulus and process it further to form urine. .. This process is also termed as ultrafiltration.
