Mechanism of breathing:-

lungs are connected to our nostrils through wind pipe .the process of breathing takes place in our lungs.when we inhale air ,air enters into nostrils ,passes through nasal passage and reaches our lungs.Our lungs hanged in chest cavity ,and are surrounded by ribs for protection .Breathing involves the movement of rib cage and diphragm. when we inhale air chest cavity becomes bigger and when we exhale chest cavity becomes smaller.
