Bus topology is also known as linear topology. In this type of topology, each node attaches directly to a common cable which functions as a shared communication medium on which various other nodes are attached. A device that wants to communicate with another device on the network sends a broadcast message onto the wire that all other devices can see, but only the intended recipient actually accepts and processes the message. This topology most often serves as the backbone for a network.

☆Actually welcome to the concept of the Network topologies.....

☆BUS TOPOLOGY ......

☆This is a very common type of a network topology .....applied and used for the personal area network and local area networks ..

☆In this topology .....a long resource wire is there ...in which all the client computers are connected to the resource wire alternately......

☆This topology is a limited are topology ...and a wired topolgy .....

☆There are terminator used at the end of the wire ...to stop overflow of the signals and data .....

☆to elongate the data ....Repeaters are used at the end of the wire ...so that the data can clearly travel to the long distance ....

■MERITS

☆Cheap And Easy Network topology
☆Data is consistent ...
☆Can be suitable for Computer labs

■DEMERITS
☆If one pc is shut down ..the whole network is shut down ....
☆Chances of leakage and breakage of data and cable
