define capital and revenue expenditure and explain its differences?

revenue expenditure is that expenditure that is done regularly for continuing the business. For example rent paid ,salary paid etc.
capital expenditure is that kind of expenditure that is done after a long period and it can increase the vale of our asset for example painting on building.
