\huge\sf{About\:Cell:-}

All organisms, whether unicellular or multicellular are made up of cells.

Cells are called "the basic structural and functional unit of life".

They are the "building blocks" of life.

There are 2 types of cell : Unicellular and Multicellular.

Unicellular organisms are those organisms with a single cell. For example, Amoeba.

Multicellular organisms are those with more than one cell. For example, Animals, Plants , Humans etc.

Cells provide a shape, take in nutrients from food, convert those nutrients into energy, and carry out specialized functions.

Cells also contain the hereditary material and can make copies of themselves.

Answer:

A cell is capable of carrying out all the life functions; such as nutrition, excretion, respiration, etc. Hence a cell is called the functional unit of life. Additionally, the cell is the smallest unit of life and all the living beings are made up of cells. Hence a cell is called the structural unit of life.
