If a partical moves in circle of radius r with a constant speed v , its acceleration is v^2/r directed towards the centre is called centripetal acceleration. sin∆¢/2=∆v/2 ∆v=2v sin∆¢/2 ∆v/∆¢ =2v sin∆¢/2/∆¢ , ∆v/∆¢=v sin∆¢/2/∆¢/2 , dv/d¢= v sin∆¢/2/∆¢/2 v (cos∆¢/2)1/2/1/2 = v dv/dt = dv/d¢×d¢/dt =v×v/r= v^2/r
