chemical changes are those changes which occur and new substance is formed after their occuring for example burning of paper is a chemical change after the paper is burnt the Ash formed is known as chemical change .

physical changes are those changes which occur and no new of substance is formed by their change for example melting of Ice and freezing of water is a physical change which occur simultaneously and does not form any new substance
