=> The short hand method of representing a Chemical reaction in terms of symbols and products is called Chemical equation.

There are two ways of representing chemical equation :-

1.)Hydrogen gas + Oxygen gas ---> Water

2.) Iron +Sulphur-----> Iron Sulphide

3.) Sulphuric acid+Copper oxide -->Copper sulphate +Water

1.)H2 + O2 ------------> H2O

2.) Fe+S ------------> FeS

3.) H2SO4 +CUO --------> CuSO4 + H2O

$\bold{How \: to \: write \:a \: Chemical \: equation ?}$

=> The symbols and formula of reactant are written on the left hand side with plus sign between them.

=> The symbols and formula of products are written on right hand side with plus sign between them.

=>And ,an arrow sign is put between reactant and product to show the direction in which the reaction is taking place.
