hey friend here is your answer.... ⛄⛄

COMPOUND :

➡️A compound is a substance that can be split into simpler substance by a chemical means .

➡️ a compound can be split into simpler substance only by a chemical means, and not by physical means like filtration ,sublimation or distillation .

➡️ a compound is formed by the combination of two or more elements .For example, the compound :

1) water is formed by the combination of hydrogen and oxygen .

2) carbon dioxide, by that of carbon and oxygen .

3) Sulphur Dioxide, by that of Sulphur and oxygen .

4) calcium carbonate, by that of calcium, carbon and oxygen .

5) sugar, by that of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen .

IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS OF A COMPOUNDS :

1) A compound can be split into its constituent elements only by a chemical means and not by a physical means like filtration, sublimation and distillation.

2) the properties of a compound are entirely different from those of the constituent elements.

3) elements combine in a fixed proportion of atom to form a compound.

4) A compound contains the constituent elements in a fixed proportion of mass.

SOLUTION:

the substance that dissolves called the solute and the liquid in which the substance dissolves is called the solvent . Thus, a solute dissolves in a solvent to form a solution .And a solution is a homogeneous mixture.

SUSPENSION :

A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture in which a solute -like particles settle out of a solvent -like phase . we apply the word suspension when particle are big enough eventually settle. if the particles are too small to ever settle ,they are said to form a colloid .

hope it helps you if it so please make it as brainliest.... ❤❄❤❄❤
