To understand conductance you need to first understand what RESISTANCE is.
Simply speaking, in an electrical circuit RESISTANCE is the opposition presented to the flow of electrons by the conductor. Imagine yourself moving across a crowded marketplace. You will not be able to walk from point A to point B without stumbling in such a crowded place (It's outrageous to even think of running!!). That is what happens to electrons when the try to flow from one point in a conductor to other. Resistance is just the intensity of the opposition.
The inverse of resistance is known as CONDUCTANCE
It means it is the ease with which the conductor allows the electrons to move through it. It's unit is mho or Siemens (just the inverse of ohm- the unit of resistance). I hope you got it now!!
