To provide a definition of currentindependent of the type of charge carriers, conventional current is defined as moving in the same direction as the positive charge flow. So, in metals where the charge carriers (electrons) are negative, conventional current is in the opposite direction as the electrons.

Hello Dost ☺

Answer :

Conventional current:

Conventionally, the direction of motion of positive charges is taken as the direction of current.

The direction of conventional current is opposite to that of the negatively charged electrons
