Define Dispersed phase and Dispersal Medium


HC17: i told her nt to say srry so obviously here it means the same

Dispersed phase: The phase that is scattered or present in the form of colloidal particles is called the dispersed phase.

 Dispersion medium: The medium in which the colloidal particles are dispersed is called the dispersion medium.

The component present in small proportion and acts Just like a solute in solution is called as dispersed phase.

The component present in large proportion and acts like solvent is called as dispersion medium.
