One male gamete from pollen grain reach to the ovule and fuses with egg cell to form zygote which is known as gametic fusion and the other male gamete fuses with the secondary nucleus of central cell to form PEN ( primary endosperm nucleus) which is triploid (3n) , this is known as triple fusion.

Since, the fusion of gametes is done two times, so this process is known as double fertilisation.

Hope this will help you!!!
