Electrification is the process of charging something with charge body or by electricity.
Types of Electrification:
1 Electrification By Friction
2. Electrification by conduction.
3. Electrification by Induction.
Electrification by Friction---
It occurs when two surfaces are rubbed together.
Electrons are loosely bound in the atom. These negatively charged electrons are responsible for electrification of bodies.
Example:
Glass rod is rubbed with silk, the electrons of glass rod are transferred to silk, so glass rod losses electrons and acquires positive charge while silk gain electrons and acquires negative charge
