Compound: A compound is a substance that consists of two or more elements, for example-water, carbon dioxide, etc.

Mixture: A mixture is a substance which is made up of several elements.

element - An element is a substance which can't be split up into two of more simpler substances by using chemical method of heat , light or electric energy.
Compounds - A compound is a substance made up of two or more elements chemically combined in a fixed proportion by mass .
Mixture - A mixture is a substance which consists of two or more elements and compounds not chemically combined together .
