Evaporation:-

This method is used to separate the volatile component from its non-volatile solute.

Ex:- common salt dissolved in water can be separated by evaporation method.

Sublimation:-

This technique is used to separate mixtures that contains a sublimated volatile component from a non-sublimable impurity.
