Hey dear here is your answer
Evolution mean that a gradual change in the sequence of characteristics.
Evidence of Evolution are
1 Homologous organ = The oragan which have same basic structure but perform different function.
Ex forlimbs of bird , forlimbs of human, forlimbs of frog etc .
Analogous Orga The organ which have performe same fuction but have different basic structure is called analogous oragan.
Ex = wings of bird , wings of bat etc.
Fossil = The remains of dead animals or plants that lived in the remote past are known as fossil.
The fossil provide evidence for evolution example a fossil of bird called Archaeopterx looks like a bird but it has many other features which ate found in reptiles this because Archaeopterx has feathered wings like those of birds but teeth and tail like those of reptiles.
There are various kinds of fossil such as Ammonite, Trilobite and dinosaur.
hope it helps ☺.
