Define force. Is it necessary for the two bodies to be in direct contact for a force to exist between them? Explain with examples.​

force is a push or pull acting on an object which tends to change it's state of motion, direction of motion and it's structure. no, it's not necessary for the two bodies to be in direct contact with each other for the exertion of force... there r non-contact forces too like magnetic force , electrostatic force e.t.c.
