Friction means the resistance that one surface or object encounters when moving over another.There are four types of friction they are :-
1. static friction - It acts on objects when they are resting on a surface. 
2. sliding friction - It is friction that acts on objects when they are sliding over a surface. 
3. rolling friction - It is friction that acts on objects when they are rolling over a surface. 
4. fluid friction - It is friction that acts on objects that are moving through a fluid.
