Frictional is a force which always acts in the opposite direction of the object.
Friction is less on smooth surfaces and more on rough surfaces.
Friction can be reduced by materials known as lubricants.
We can not work or do any activity without friction.
It has some disadvantages also
Tyres get rubbed and worn out.
Machines do not work properly.

The property by virtue of which the relation motion between two surfaces in contact is opposed is known as Friction.
And ,
Tangential forces developed between the two surfaces in contact, So as to oppose their relative motion are known as Frictional forces.
