G1 phase is the phase where no DNA synthesis takes place.
But here cell is preparing for further changes.
Sphase of synthesis phase includes DNA replication of chromosomal duplication.
G2 phase or GAP2 includes the successful completion of S phase,with the production of of organelles to be divided further in mitosis/meiosis.
