1898, a scientist called C. Golgi discovered these cell organelles in the cytoplasm of cells. They originate from endoplasmic reticulum .They consists of fluid- filled vesicles , vacuoles and closed sacs stacked together .

Golgi apparatus is one of the cell organelle. It was first described by Camillo Golgi. It is a cell organelle that consists of a system of membrane bound vesicles arranged parallel to each other in stocks.
Its main function is to package and dispatch the material which is synthesised in ER....In simple words
