intramolecular hydrogen bonding take place in ortho _ nitrophenol but not in para- nitropgenol. explain why

In orthonitrophenol you can see NO2 group is present right next to OH group. Therefore hydrogen bonding takes place. Well that bond is also strong. And this is not the case in paranitrophenol. in that NO2 group is present at the para position ,it doesn't have OH group for H Bonding. Well it can't take H from benzene as it would be much stable.
