The header is a section of the document that appear in the top marjin, while the footer is a section of the document that appears in the bottom marjin. Header and footer generally contain information such as the page number, data and document name.

Answer:

Header - It refers to supplemental data placed at the beginning of a block of data being stored or transmitted. In data transmission, the data following theheader is sometimes called the payload or body.

Footer - A document footer is a small section at the bottom of each page within a document. It is often used to display company data or copyright information.
